I fell down a black hole after watching Down to Earth on Netflix . I had the same 🤯 moment as Zac Efron in Sardinia hearing that no Blue Zone centenarian societies (people living past 100) have high protein diets. Zero.
I researched more and was shocked that I was eating over 3x the amount of protein that my body needs compared to these cultures. It’s against everything I’ve been taught.
But if there’s anything I’ve learned during covid-19, it’s my shifting definition of health. It’s not just about toned muscles and organic foods, it’s about the balance of breathing, the Mediterranean diet, and moving.
