Beans are a staple to the Mediterranean diet, and this is one of my favorites. My recipe is a variation of a common green bean dish you will find all over Greece — but I like to amp up the flavor with garlic, broth, lemon, and feta.
The combination of fresh green beans and parsley with the hint of cinnamon, really allows few ingredients to deliver deep flavor. You’ll find feta and lemon wedges on every Greek dining table, so don’t forget to add those in for a salty, acidy punch!
