Form Guidelines & Warm Up

by Carrinicole

Proper form and warming up your muscles reduce your likelihood for injury.

Poor form is the culprit for many injuries. I speak about the key things to remember every time you work out. I’m constantly running “engage core”, “shoulders down” through my mind throughout my workouts.

Also as your start building your exercise routine, taking the time to warm up your muscles becomes increasingly more important.

Think of your muscles as toffee — when toffee is cold, it is hard, and rips when you pull it apart. When you warm it up, it stretches. Your muscles are the same.
